Daisy RUIZ

Daisy Ruiz, better known online as @Draizys, is a Bronx-bred Illustrator, Founder and Creative Director of award-winning compilation zine Deadass Tho NYC, and a one-third of WOC art Collective Spicy Mango Comics. Her illustrations take inspiration from her 5 year-long Scene phase, her East Coast Chicana upbringing, and everyday NYC living, just to name a few.

 
 
 

RACHELLE hall

Rachelle Jade is an Illustrator, Printmaker and maker of comics. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries and has been featured in publications.

She resides in Brooklyn, NY, where she was born x raised. Growing up in a big city and Caribbean household influences her work to create narratives that explore culture, nature, folklore and beauty.

Julia mata

Julia is an illustrator, comic book artist, and event producer from Southern California. Julia lives in New York + makes work for print, with the dream of having her titles in public libraries one day. Her work has been published in Horchata Zine, Hyrsteria Zine, Freaks Comix, the Betty’s, and Chiflada Zine amongst others. In addition she currently has an ongoing self published series titled Crisis! Julia was commissioned by the Urbano Project in Jamaica Plain, Boston to paint a mural, which lives in Egleston Square. She have been working professionally as a curator since age 19, and has been a part of various collaborations to produce concerts, radio shows, gallery exhibitions, and parties. She also creates visuals and illustrations for women of color run projects and initiatives.
